All schools depend upon gift income or service rendered in kind to meet the needs not covered by tuition.  As a matter of stewardship, our primary efforts in requesting gifts will be directed to God's people. Christians have the primary responsibility for and interest in accomplishing God's will.  We will also requests gifts from those in businesses, organizations, foundations, and individuals that support independent education, or are generally philanthropic, or because of some identifiable relationship may be supportive of SCS.  Gifts will not be requested from individuals or entities that generate their funds through illegal or undesirable activity.  Giving through methods other than cash giving will also be encouraged.  (Stocks, life insurance, deferred gifts, annuities, etc.)

Organizations within the school may conduct various fund raising projects to raise funds form their group. The Penny Drop is the school's largest fund raiser held annually in the fall.

Each gift and donation is considered a blessing and is greatly appreciated. Individuals wishing to donate to Sumiton Christian School may do so in person, phone, or by mail. Donations may be cash, check or credit card.  Each gift will be acknowledged with a letter of thanks and appreciation. Sumiton Christian School is a 501C-3 tax exempt organization.
